when I was in Bosnia fuel there was running about 1.30 or so Mark per liter.

then the mark rate was about 2:1USD so it takes about 4 liter per gallon thats already 5.20 Mark, the add in the conversion that equals around $2.60 USD, that was back in '01

so the conversion rate for England is around 1:1.5USD (about a buck 50 for one quid ukhemi know what I'm saying) take $7.50 per gallon divide 1.5 and you get 5, divide by 4 since they run on the metric system and that gives you 1.25 pounds. thats some expensive stuff bro

It's 2.69 for 87 here in southeast Missouri....I guess I'm going to start driving the 2.7 Chrysler 300 around....70 bucks for a fill up is BS. No wonder the oil companies took in more profits this year than in history. Lining their pockets is all we are doing. I wish we could call a "no gas" day and no one in the US buy gas for 1 single day. They would lose more money than they could handle....Just my .02

Well heard today that our gas prices would be atleast 10-15cents lower but 1/4 of the refineries in the Gulf Coast are still not up and running yet.

This is a fact: You can see the entire article at : http://www.bipps.org/ARTICLE.ASP?ID=399

However, Iraqis can buy imported refined gasoline for as little at 5 cents per gallon, courtesy of American taxpayers! Iraqi officials use American tax dollars to buy this fuel from the Saudis or other OPEC nations at market rates. This subsidy to Iraq cost us nearly $3 billion in 2004 alone.

On top of the High gas prices Our Government charges us taxes on gas. About 18.5 cents a gallon. Bush and his crew of bandits are laughing all the way to the bank. I would like to see their bank account balance's.

What a Joke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sign up for one of the many gas cards. I have a race trac card. 10% for the first 60 days on race trac purchases and 2% on all others. Hess has a really good card, but I don't pass one.

Oh, and the oil companies need more profit than the 10 billion they had made during the hurricane quarter. I read an article the other day that there is a surplus of oil but the companies just are not refining it. I guess we will learn how to conserve no matter how much the oil companies make.
