I currently own an 01 off road, and am looking to upgrade to the quad cab for more interior room. I found a 2002 1500 4x4 with only 33k on it for sale. The truck looks, runs, and drives great. The extra interior room is loved by the kids so it seems to be a good fit for us. My question is are there any "issues" with the 02 model being it was the first model yr of a major redesign. Any reliabillity issues that you all may have experienced or heard of? Just want to know if it is a safe buy or if I should continue my search for a little newer version with the hemi vs. the 5.9.

I should also note that we pull a 16' enclosed trailer to the mx tracks weekly so I would like your opinions on this one. Thanks in advance for the input.

 

check out my 02 I got a good deal and am totally satisfied, it's got plenty of power and towing pull, sure not like the hemi but WTF still a dodge RAM and looks sweet. the one your looking at is very low on milage sounds like a good deal! and sounds like you already have a 5.9 so you know how good those engines are.
