Loss of power at 15k?
Hey, i been driving my truck alot, love the power. But now that im close to 15k miles it just seems to have lost high-end power. Id say high-end torque really. Trucks an 04 Hemi QC. Maybe ive just gotten really use to it? I have Flows, and K&N. (K&N big woopy~not.)
you just got used to it. I think you got your new truck and loved it because of all the power it had but now that youve had it for a while and got used to it, it just seems normal instead of the super beast it seemed like when you first purchased it.
I would say you got used to it as well. becouse i thought same thing tell i drove the mitsubishi mirage for a week to save on gas money last week , got in the ram sat and was like getting into a rocket took some time to reajust to the power thats for sure.
I agree with Doc. I've got 40k now and it's running as well as it ever has and is getting it's best mileage. I was shocked today when I hit the overhead console (I know about the argument that it's not completely accurate, but it's close enough for me) and saw on this last full tankful I averaged 15.0. Not bad from 10-11 mpg when new.
Reset your computer! Every now and then the adaptive learning tends to work against us. You may find out that after resetting the computer that the "PEP" returnes.

I would agree with used to it. Have both a 2006 Durango with Hemi, and 2006 Charger Daytona. I thought the Durango was fast, but after driving the Charger for the past three months, the Durango is a dog in comparison.
