Looking to buy a Ram
Whatever you do, make sure you start the asking price higher than what you actually want for it. It gives you a little cushion when you are negotiating prices. I just sold my 93 grand cherokee (i guess i should change my signature), it had a custom 5" lift, MTR tires, American racing wheels, 4.10 gears, detroit lockers, custom sway bar disconnects, roof rack, 6 hella lights, grill guard, and a lot of other mods. Kelly Blue Book said it was valued at $3,335 because it was in fair condition (I honestly beat the hell out of it offroad but I made it look pretty). I added up the cost of all the mods and it was around $4500. I only added $1200 to that price so my beginning asking price was $4,500. Within a week I had it sold for $4,300. I was pleased with the final price because it was a 13 year old Jeep, 150,000 miles on it (the engine was about to go is why I sold it), alot of body damage, and a fuel pump that would only work when it wanted to. I pretty much robbed the guy, but he's the dumbass for buying it. (FYI, I told the guy about the engine and fuel pump) I hope you have the same luck I did.

thanks for the advise oppie, i wondered if the work i did adds to the price or lowers to the price, guess it depends on the buyer.....but good info anyway....i figured on adding a little for all the work i put into it

I got a 2004 dodge SLT QC with 20 inch wheels and the 4.7 liter engine for 17500 (plus 150 to transfer warranty) it came out to 18880 with taxes and everything. so im sure you can find one in your range if your looking at single cabs and you said that all the other options dont matter to you.
