I just finished installing my new driving lights in my 06 ram when I noticed that the parking brake released was held on with a rubber band . Just wanted to put this out so if anyone else had this problem they can fix it.

 

What do you mean rubber band? Do you have pictures? The assembly plant uses the rubber band to hold hood release lever out of the way until it is connected to the hood release cable, and uses a rubber band to hold the parking brake lever in place until it is completely connected.
