I am curious about the advantage of using a charge air kit versus just getting a K&N air filter. Did anybody notice big advantages with the charge air, like better performance, gas mileage, or sound? There's a big price difference so I want to be sure. Any comments are welcomed if you have either one.

are you talking about a cold air intake system? If so,You will hear all sorts of info in both pro and con on here.I have the K&N CAI on my truck,I noticed an increase of about 1.5 MPG right away,some will say this is BS,some have the same results as I had.As far as the sound goes,it rocks! sounds like the old thermoquad carbs opening up,it realy roars!My personal opinion is that they are worth every penny,but thats just my 2cents worth
