When the lights get a little corrosion on the terminals (esp. the rear tailights) it can give you a false lamp out reading. Many have taken the bulbs out and cleaned up the contacts with a rubber eraser and then put a little dielectric grease in the socket to cure this.
yes i check and when i try o remove the tail lights they don't come out. I remove the 2 screwes and i pull on the light realy hard but nothing. if i look inside between the light and the metal body it looks like there is anotehr screw or something holding it in. Any idea how to get to it?
There are two torx screws on the inside of the tailgate for each tail light lens. Then you gotta pull like a motha to get it out. Do a search, you'll find plenty on taking out the tail lights.
Take the 2 screws out and then use a screwdriver and CAREFULLY pry the taillight out. You'll hear a pop and it'll come out...Just be careful not to scratch the paint. The headlights are the same way
