I have the superchips for the 4.7 and I wouldn't have it any other way. Right now I'm running the program for 87 octane because I can't afford the premium required to run the 91 octane program for performance. When I did run the performance setting ( for about 15,000 miles) the truck would outrun my boyfriend's stock Hemi 2500. It's an automatic and will chirp 2nd if I put the pedal down. Now, even running the 87 program, there's a BIG difference in the response and, most noticably, the shift points. I would reccomend getting at least a good CAI so it's suckin enough air though. Exhaust helps too. Hope this helps!

the 04 4.7 does not have a programmer yet. All you have is a jet chip...which i wouldn't advise!!!!

There are a ton of mods you can do to your 4.7L while you wait for Superchips to come out with a tuner...

I have done just about every mod to the 4.7L except Crank/rods/pistons...Other than that I have done them all!

FAST MAN Heads, FAST MAN 212 cams, Gibson headers, 3" single "Y" murge AFTER the transmission, High Flow 3" CAT, Electric cut out, electric fan, underdrive pulley, 2800 stall, AIR RAM INDUCTION, POWER WIRE, JET STREAM SCOOP, 4.56 gears, 70MM throttle body, Flash in works, SAFC II, Wide band O2,... and the list goes on...

SPEED SAFE, AIR RAM
