My dad has an 03' Hemi loaded with every option. Laramie, sport package, QC 4x4 3.92 rear Hemi. The dealer offered him 18k.

Don't forget about sales tax advantage.

I don't know about other states but in texas you only pay sales tax on the actual sale. Meaning new car - minus trade in. The tax on $25000 @ 7.75% is about $1930. If you sell your vehicle private party then you would not be able to take advantage of this. Sometime this nullifies the extra money you make and the extra effort involved in selling the vehicle privately.

Just bought my 04 Hemi SLT 4x4 QC/SB, fairly well opted out for 19900.00, it had 38k miles on it.
I traded a 97 Dak club 4x4 sport for 5 grand that had ~90k miles on it and rust everywhere. My net cost was 15000.00.
I'd have to say you're high, but try anyway, there's always a buyer out there...

The most you probably would get for your truck is 20k or less. And 32k miles is not really that low for a 04. My 03 Ram only has 33k miles on it.

I bought my 03 QC SLT fully loaded with the ground effects and all from a dealership for 16,500. That was with a little negotiation but hey... it was the price. 22k and I would be more than happy

Hey guys thanks for all the replies, I appreciate it.

I just booked out my truck.

Wholesale Blue Book is : $20,650.00

So if I cant get at least $22,500 for it, I'll probably just end up keeping it.

Thanks again!!
I don't mean to sound like a jerk, but what the KBB fails to take into account are gas prices (hurt value), manufacturer rebate programs (which lower the value of used vehicles, since new ones are less expensive), and the general market conditions. I think you would be very hard pressed to sell a 2004 Ram for $22,500 when someone could buy a 2006 close to the same price, with 0 miles, a full warranty, etc.
