“They ended up putting the 360 engines
in a few of the trucks in January and
February 2003.” — Rovell Rangel
From: http://www.allpar.com/mopar/318.html
I know its the 318 page but thats where i noticed it and it doesnt matter where its on that site but its listed there and thats what im sticking with, it suprized me too that they actually finished em off in early 03 models..

RE: 03 Ram Dies in car wash
When was the last time the truck was tuned up? Plugs, wires, and distributor cap. Its normal for engines with high mileage and a distributor type system to tend to stall when they get wet. Usually if I were washing an engine of this type at a quarter wash I'd always cover up the dist. cap with a plastic bag or something. I'd go home, spray down your plug wires and cap with a spary bottle and see if the same things happens. If it does, then try giving the engine a typical tune up, and you should be all set. If the spray bottle doesn't help, then its back to the drawing board for me, lol. Hope this helps.

RE: 03 Ram Dies in car wash
I have an almost exact problem. Mine does basically the same thing in a car wash. I keep mine in neutral to keep it running. It also happens if I drive through heavy water on the highway. I can not see an electrical problems.Could it be the Oxygen sensors? Thereare no factory splash gaurds, so just guessing here.
