Default Need Immediate HELP!

Dealer says my truck only has the 3yr/36K Mi warranty.

I think it has the 7 yr / 100K warranty.

I just got off the phone with the repair supervisor at the dealer and it is going to cost me $2500 for a new tranny b/c the rear clutch is bad and the torque converter has a noise in it.

HELP!

Not that I don't trust the dealer, who would I call to verify?

If you're the first or second owner of the truck, you should have a 7yr/75k warranty on the powertrain. If you're the second owner, you should have had that transfered but it may have slipped through the cracks. You should have a 3yr/36k bumper to bumper warranty though.

I have to transfer mine just bought my ram1500 with 5.7 hemi about 3 weeks ago with 27,000 miles on it got a letter saying will cost me 150 to transfer the warranty or i will only have the 3yr/36k bumper to bumper gives me only 30 days to do so as well.guess i will be doing it as 150 is cheap. if something big goes wrong would be spending lots more then that.
