Good price. I noticed that it fits 2.5" diameter pipes. My 2500 has 3" all the way back. Do the 1500 have 2.5"?

 

Good question - I assume the 2003 1500 has a 2.5" at the cat or that the pipes in the kit are adaptable, it is a direct bolt-on kit by Flowmaster, so I hope they got the measurements right.

Anyone know what size pipe exits out of the 2003 1500 Cat?

 

To follow-up, I just instaled this system, and it is incredible. It has great low end rumble, especially at idle, but the sound tapers off after the 55mph mark. The tips exiting the side look great, and it gives a nice clean look to the rear - no exhaust pipe sticking out. The install took 2hrs, and it clamped right into place, no need to have a welder/shop install.....all said, for $241 this was a great mod with quality parts.....I hope some of you were able to order this before they ran out of stock.....

 

S.S. or galvanized steel? Still a good price!

 

It's alumanized steel - which is second fiddle to stainless, but no complaints here. Attached are some pics:
