I just purchased a Flowmaster Muscle Truck kit (#17387) online for $241 shipped- thats a 50 HD muffler with some short pipes and polished tips. I figured this was a good deal, especially when I was looking a Gibon Super Truck exhaust system to begin with. Anyone installed/have this system, what's your take? Did I get a good deal or am I walking into an exhaust nightmare? (I searched for a thread on this exhaust and didn't find it......)

Good Set up. Just a Bitch getting the stock system off. If you have a Hemi , you may want to keep the resonator on. That thing will be loud as hell without it. Good Luck.

What about this system being too loud without the resonator? Can anyone send a link to more details on the resonator?

 

take the resonator off me and my dad both took it off when we got our flowmaster exhaust and i think it sounds alot better. it depends on what you like but its not too loud at all for either of us.

 

im on that website now and the cheapest exhaust im seeing is like $375+ shipping

 

The 50 HD is not too loud by any means. I would take the resonator off because it will sound a little meaner. Sounds like a good deal overall.
