NEWBEE!!!
I just recently purchased a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7l V8. Nice truck! I have already added a jett module to gain a few extra HP. Didn't really notice a difference though. I am registering to this post, because I plan to dump some more money into my truck and just like to get other peoples perspectives on thing that they might have already done. My next project might either be cold air intake by K&N (which only will give me 8hp gain), or a new exhaust system. Any ideas anyone? I need some more horse power and better fuel efficiency. My buddy just recently kicked my *** in a race with his damn nissan. I can't have that again. Well hope to hear from you all at one point of another. Keep me posted and I will do the same!

Drew,
Welcome to DF. This is the place to come for getting ideas, checking out other peoples rides, asking questions and sharing knowledge. Lots of good people here. Glad to have you aboard.
Check out the Ram section. You will probably be able to find plenty of info there to your questions. Good luck.

honestly when I added the K&N intake into my truck, I definitely noticed a difference. Every little thing helps.
Exhaust is going to do a lil bit but more for me it was just to make it sound more beasty, but its also a nice system for a little help.
I guess when running with everything together, check what Octane gas your using. Get an intake, exhaust. Good first steps.
