Default 03 RAM SLIDING REAR WINDOW?

I have a 03 Hemi Ram 4X4 off-road, the rear sliding window latch broke. I called a glass repair company and they stated that the whole window needs to be replaced. Has anyone come across anything similar? There is nothing wrong with the window just the latch.

had that occur once at the dealership. sorry to tell but dodge does not have a fix for it yet. ended up sending it out to get the back glass replaced.

Was it the whole window or just the small one that slides?

as far as i know it was the whole window. remember trying to order the slider and the latch. no parts available. they have seperate vendors that make all the specialty stuff like that for them. half the time they dont offer spare parts and that also keeps us from getting parts. from what i remember it didnt even look like i could get the slider window out.
