Default Transmission Rebuilt

OK, I finally got my truck this AM.

They started working on it last Thursday, they called Wed evening 5 minutes before the closed to tell me it was done..

Anyway, I pick it up this AM. You know I might be ultra sensitive to the shifting etc, but it still seems very slow to accelerate, not as bad as before, but not as good as I remember....

Now, the ? I have, is there a 'learning' or 'break in' period when something like a tranny rebuild is done? [sm=dontgetit.gif]

Just to be on the safe side, why not follow the new car recommendations for the first 500 miles. You know:

* Keep speeds 50 mph or under
* No full throttle acceleration
* No towing.
* When towing for the first time, limit top speed to 50 mph for the first 500 mi.

Won't hurt...
