Piggy-Back units do not replace the original ECU, instead they piggy-back onto an existing system and intercept / change the signals from the engine before they get to the ECU.
PIGGY BACK units also do ignition mapping, extra injector activation, launch control, open and closed loop lambda, logging and real time tuning WHILE YOU DRIVE, all with the original ECU still present!

Basically they allow you to use a laptop to tune your a/f and timing for better performance.

There are guys runing a two stage 100 then 150 with no problems. Then there are some runing a 75 shot and blowing up their plastic intake.

Dropping two seconds with just heads and cam will not be easy. What heads are you planning on using, p&p 5.7 heads? 6.1 heads?

What about a CAI and cut-out too to help that Hemi breath and exhale.
Either going to get dynatech headers or hedman headers cause thats what krcperformance says there cam's work best with. And yeah I would also get a CAI thats a given and maybe a catalitic converter. And I would only use alittle 50shot of nitrous on 93octane don't won't anything happening to my truck. Well with 218cam, hedman headers, CAI, catalitic converter, 50shot, and 4.10gears, thats about 80-120HP right there should deffinetly get me into the high to mid 13's.

Yes, 13's for sure! You don't need the gears since your are using nitrous. People who have switched from 3.92 to 4.56 have not gained in the 1/4 only the 1/8 plus if you are fast enough you will run out of gear at the end of the 1/4. You want to finish the 1/4 at the top of 3rd gear and not in 4th.

I have 4.56's but I needed them to help spool the turbo at take off. Now I have a high stall tc so spooling up quickly is no prob.

Your ram is turboed? What do you have the krc turbo or the ststurbo? And with a superchip I'll hit 3rd gear right about 2-3seconds before the end of the 1/4mile. And I don't plan on getting 4.56gears but 4.10gears. And to think I could pull off a 13flat

I have an STS turbo doing 413rwhp at 7lbs. That was a 2nd gear pull on 23" wheels. Soon I will be doing 16-18lbs on a built block.

Even with the 4.10's you should not hit 4th in the 1/4 unless you are in the low 12's. The Superchips will actually help because you can increase the shift/rev points so it doesn't go into 4th until 6200 rpm's. You want to cross the trap at about 6K in third for best times.

Did you have any problems with the turbo install or tuning your ram? And do you run 7psi on the street too? I was thinking about getting a sts turbo and running just 3psi on the street but 6-7psi at the track, so thats around 320HP on the street and around 420 on the track. With kind of power are you in the 12's? And do you think the turbo system is worth the $4200 but with the install and stuff like that you probably payed around $4500-4600. And on 16-18psi that would be around 550-600HP. Then you would be a KenneBell Lightning killer.

I run it at 3.5 psi on the street unless someone pulls up next to me then I hit the switch on the boost controller and go to 7lbs. The truck weighs 2200lbs with the 23" wheels, 12" subs and amps, tonneau cover, 20" steel spare, tow package etc. I ran it once at the track in low boost because I was runing lean and only got 14.5 at 98.xxmph. That was in street trim with nothing removed. I one raced a friend in another ram with a turbo who does 13.1 and was door to door with him at 7lbs. I have beaten plenty of SRT4's and cars runing 12's on the freeway but from a take off I am not as fast because of the weight. Also, that was my first and only time at the track and it was freeking hot and humid at the CA Speedway. If I had spooled up the turbo off the line by brake stalling and full boost I would have done a lot better. I now have Nitto NT555R's with 17" wheels for the track, 4.56's, high stall tc and a good tune so we will see.

So in your opinion the kit is well worth it. And what about tuning for your truck that seems to be the problem with Hemi's and forced induction. And did you mean your truck weighs 5200pounds with all that stuff in it. Have heard of ststurbo owners that have hit in the 13's at just 3-4psi. Since you are the real first sts turbo owner I have talked I'm really starting to get interested again.

I think it is worth it but that is just my opinion. If a truck is running low 14's before the tuebo it could be in the 12's after since you can see about a 1.5 sec drop but if you are in the high 15's you may only be able to see high 13's or mid 14's. Tuning was an issue originally but we figuered it out and are runing strong right now. I replaced the 8 stock injectors with larger units and removed the aux(9th) injector. I have a piggyback controller that I use to dial in my a/f, timing and meth injection. You can see a pic of the truck at www.ElColasMotorSports.com

I also have a nitrous setup installed but have never used it. I wanted to use a small(40) shot just to get out of the hole and help cool the intake charge but decided to build up the engine first. http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...R/Nitrous4.jpg
