im looking to pick up the k&n fipk and some kind of cat back exhaust (dual rear exit slash cut tips). what kind of results have you guys picked up performance and fuel economy wise? also what companies did you go with? and what is a nice loud deep rumbling exhaust that you recomend? i also want good quality that wont rust out in a year.

 

I dont know on the intake, I just have a K&N replacement filter. But on the exhaust I got 3 inch cat-back with a 3 inch two chamber flowmaster put on mine right when I bought it a couple of years ago and I havent had any problems. I dont know if it helped on my gas mileage because I did it right when I bought it. But I get 15.5 mpg in town and 19mpg on Highway. Its an 04 Ram QC with the 5.7.

I like the way it sounds but I got it coming out in the stock location.
