I have seen a camaro Z 28 take off from a redlight here, and the guy driving it on a dry road almost lost it bad them cars have tons of power as i have seen it for myself no way a truck would take one out. its like a 747 trying to beat a fighter jet not going to happen. the ram is a brick and the camaro cuts through the air like a knife.

You could get a Ram to around 425HP without a turbo or supercharger. Cam's, headers, CAI, exhaust and a 75-100shot of nitrous. All that which around 3k.

Moral of the story: Race your own kind. Unless it's a Lightning.

yep, and yo would still get beat... look at the new 6.1 hemi with 425 or whatever it is. most ls1 f-bodies with just a better flowing intake and exhaust woudl still beat it.. point is trucks arent meant for racing (thus the bed and trailer hitch)

actually, trucks are meant for racing. just for racing other trucks and normal cars. not sports cars. and the SRT is hardly made as a hauling and working truck. i don't exactly buy SRT's to get out in the hay feild with so I can get the cows there winter eats!
