Well damn... seems like my neighbor has the same truck as me except its a HEMI with the Big Horn Package, I like the bigger wheels

I have an 03 4.7 just over 50k on it now .. Not a complaint at all. I have never had any problem with it, other than a brake light burning out, and a flat tire. Cant beat the reliability, mileage, and longevity of the 4.7 engine. It's a winner, enjoy your new truck!
I have an 05 ram qc 1500 lonestar with the 4.7, i work at a car dealership and have had PLENTY of driving time with the the 4.7 and 5.7 hemi, the only difference i felt was the sound and the mid-range power band on the hemi was stronger, but if you want that same power on the 4.7 just press a little harder on the pedal. Im very happy with mine and glad i didnt go hemi (i know ill get killed for that lol) actually might have condsidered the Diesel over the HEMI.
Good pick on the 1500 4.7

Do a search on exhaust upgrades first my friend. You'll get more than enough info on what you're looking for.
The 4.7 has several performance upgrades as well if you're looking for a power gain after that. I have the 4.7 MTX, have had no problems at all with it. I'm not too familiar with the automatic though... You'll be happy with your purchase though, enjoy your toy!
