Default Best Aftermarket Rotors

He ya'll I'm Back!!!

Got lost for a few weeks!!
Bought me another toy, been lost in a cloud somewhere

Seems my front rotors have Warped again!!!

I've let it go awhile this time, just have'nt felt like messing with it!!
Now it shakes like hell everytime you apply the brakes @ any speed!!

I dont really want to go back with factory rotors!!

What aftermarket rotors have you found that work better than factory???

Price and a Link would be nice!!!

Thanx!![8D]

Sometimes you can find the Brembo OEM style replacement rotors pretty cheap online and at some chain stores. Many here like the Powerslot rotors. Both are good rotors and should not warp.

The next question will be what pads. Some use ceramic, but say they squeel. Some like the Hawk brand pads. It is all a matter of preference. You'll find tons of threads (days worth of reading) if you're interested...

I am going to try some drilled and slotted off of ebay with some bendix pads. I don't see the need of spending $600 on power slots and hawk pads.

Whatever your auto store has will be better than the stock setup.

I recently did a brake job on my truck. Replaced all 4 rotors with Brembo OEM style. I have hawk ceramic pads up front and ceramic pads in rear, I forgot the brand(Hawk does not make ceramic for the rear) I think its a big improvement over what I had before. My fronts do squel slightly, ocassionally. Best prices I found was from Tirerack.com

Go with fairly good rotors, and cheap *** brake pads. I replaced my rotors once and didn't replace the pads.....5,000 miles later they were warped. Replaced the rotors with rotors from Summit Racing, and replaced the brake shoes with the cheapest ones I could find at Autozone (semi-metallic, I think). Now have put 30,000 miles on them and the brake shoes are still in great shape and no warped rotors......and I do a lot of hauling and towing. Use that tow/haul button to help hold back going down hills keeps the pads and rotors lasting longer too.

this is hearsay but coming from a history of muscle cars and muscle car owners and friends the OEM brembo rotors are even thicker than the stock rotors so they should last a good while as well. i say brembo oem and them powerslot rotors 2nd.
Hawk HPS and Akebono are probably the best brake pads but that's just an opinion.
