Default single 12" under rear seat (06 quad)

I want to get a single 12" solo L7 under my rear seat of my 06 quad cab. Just wondering if anyone has done this with any luck. Really would like 2cu. ft. Since the min is 1.75cu ft. Thanks for any help, pics would be great too.

Well I haven't cause I have a reg cab, but a buddy of mine went an extreme sounds shop and had them build a custom box that fit a 12 under the and a 12 under the right and in the middle there was alittle cubby space, now I don't remember how much he payed for the box but it worked out for him. Maybe it will work for you.

Great to hear. So a single should be no problem. Hopefully there will be enough room though for 2 amps under there somehow. At least theres alot of room under the driver and passenger seats if not I guess. I will see and post up pics afterwards.

Here is a pic with 2 8" L7's. Had a custom glass box built. The system pounds. I would think a 12" would fit but there might not be enough room without raising the seat.

Whats on the other side? Did you have to cut down the middle to get the amp in there? And does anyone know how easily the storage bins come out altogether? Would like to not even have them at all. Would give me plenty of room I would think.

The other side is still storage, and the fold flat floor is still there. I was able to get enough volume for the two subs in one box so I decided to leave the storage. Works great. The box is friction fit and the amp sits right next to it.

Well I got a price for a ported fiberglass single 12" L7 for $350. Not too bad I think if it fits nice and everything. Trying to get both my amps under there too so we'll see. Gotta pick up my equipment though.

For the 2 8" L7 kickers, the Eclipse XA1000 amp, Fiberglass box, and install I walked out of there for $1500.00. Not to bad for a custom job. Sounds very good, clean bass. I can give you the name of the shop if you want. I don't know if they would need a truck to mould the box or not. Just let me know.
