Default Hey Airram

Man you have a hell of a setup, I hope you don't mind me asking, but what kind of power are you getting for the 4.7.

Thank you,

At this time Im haveing all sorts of PCM issues. I have all the parts to make real good power just lack of controle over those parts. Next year I will most likely go to a stand alone PCM with a turbo/supercharger... not sure yet as to which one.

I sold my Superchips and went with a BG Flash, went from a 9.91 to 10.7 in the 1/8th mile. So from FIRST HAND experience the superchips is WAY better than the BG flash. The BG customer service was just as bad as the flash (non existant).

Prior to the heads and 212 cams I was running 9.91 in the 1/8th... To do that in a quad cab you would need at least 280-290 RWHP. So If I had to guess I would say 280RWHP PRIOR to the heads and 212 cams.

Did you try krc performance, I notice that they have a pcm flash and also a system that give you complete control of your system, so they say.
Right now all I have is a cold air intake on my truck. I am thinking of changing my gears from the stock 3.55 to 4.56's next. What do you think, should I do the gear change next, or is there something else I should do before changing the gears.

i know you are waiting for AIRRAM to respond but i am 100% confident he would say that 4.56 gears SHOULD be your next mod. He has told us COUNTLESS times that 4.56 should be anyones FIRST mod, not only does it give you neck snapping off the line action, it also helps 2-3 mpg.

Just to give you something to think about until you hear the "official" word from him...

Yes! What Schawks73 said... 4.56's should be your FIRST MOD... or in your case your NEXT MOD!

KRC deals with BG for their PCM flashes... For my 2002 4.7L BG failed 4 times to give me a flash that even remotely performed better than the STOCK PCM did. All the flashes BG sent me where at best... worthless. Right now Im working with someone else who can reflash the PCM and on his first try it was MUCH better than ANYTHING BG has sent... It still needs tweeking and this guy is willing to tweek till we nail it down. So far after the first flash I just got back... I have a whole lot of faith. I will NOT give any names untill its sucessfull or not... I went out on a limb and started advertising for BG long before I received a sucessfull flash.... now Im stuck eating my words as the BG Flash was a complete failure.

KRC does sell the stand alone PCM... and thats what I may be looking at next year.
