Default Shift Kits

How are you all? Thanks for the previous responses. I am thinking about putting a shift kit in my truck. It is a 2003 1500 standard 4.7 L I don't even know what type of Tranny it is R45? 46? Anyway, Just posting this to see if anyone has put on in a similiar truck? If so, what kind of results did you get? What would you guys recomend? I don't like the ***** *** shifting my truck is getting. I floor it and it takes so much time for the horsys to get to the road, and it just shifts like a weak *** 4 banger or something. Thanks Ladies and Gents!

Drew-out!

If it uses the same tranny as the 5.7 Hemi then you can get a shift kit from APS or http://www.transmissionsone.com/45rf...s_from_pat.htm

I bought one from APS but have not put it in yet. Those that have like the firmer shifts at part and WOT.

I am sure it is a 45rfe...I guess Transgo sells one the PSK 45rfe. Is this what you installed? I am really tired of putting money into my truck and getting crappy results or no results for that matter. I can't belive no one else has responded to this? Thanks for the response SRT10 kllr

Interesting 545rfe tranny specs. Sure beats a factory OEM replacement cost. Drew, what have you added to your truck that you expected substantial gains?

Did they ever make a stick truck with the Hemi in QC formation?
