Thumbs up for new Titan option
They are now offering a spray in bed liner as an option on the Titan. Great idea!! Wake up DC. Offer a color keyd liner and one up them!
It's also offered in the Frontier. It is a nice option, but who is going to fix it when its gets messed up, as opposed to a Line-X or Rhino who do it for free. Also, it is very hard and not as rubbery as the Rhino, at least in the ones I saw.
I say that DC should work out a deal with Rhino or Line-x where those liners can be an option so that they would be available, after all they're the best liners out there. That would be the same thing like Subaru etc have done by installing Brembo brakes on their cars, they now have the best brakes available. I think that the Rhino or Line-x option would defiantley keep DC as a competitor.

when my dad bought his 03 the dealer he bought it from gave him a free spray in bed liner but it wasnt a hard one like the rhino/linex it was soft and sloppily installed. where it goes over the rails you can see the drip from where some of the material ran down and it peels up very easily. if you worked at it you could remove the whole thing with your thumbnail. it came with a lifetime replacement warranty so when it gets pretty much completely torn up hes gonna take it in and make them redo the whole thing instead of just having them patch the gashes in it now. if DC makes it an option they should definantly get a reputable manufacturer such as rhino/linex and that way you would have all the color choices that those companies offered anyways. you could even have an option for a chrome ram's head emblem to be embedded in the floor of the bed and sprayed over with a clear polyeurathane coating to protect the emblem. i saw somebody with a golden chevrolet emblem embedded like that in their silverados bed and it looked nice.
When I bought my Ram, I asked the dealer about getting a spray-in liner. They called it in to Line-X, who gave me the "Dealer Discount Price" which was $399 for over-the-rails.

I agree, from the factory would be a nice option. When I bought my '05 2500 the dealership had a deal w/a local place that does "TurboLiner".....sorta inbetween Line-X and Rhino in texture but basicaly the same stuff. They "gave me a deal" - was $250 for over the rails but the bennefit is if it cracks, etc. the warranty is between myself and the place the sprayed it so I don't have to monkey w/the dealership...
