Get the 6.1 heads and get a nice cam. Maybe a full exhaust system too?

A cam and headers is not going to get a 5800lb 4X4 QC into the low 14's. Ain't gonna happen.

Well, I just got back, I was there for 2 hours, and raced a total of 21 times...
I sucked at first, with the worst 1/4 mile time of over 17 seconds, however, after about my first 3 runs, I was running 16.2 all night long, my final run was as follows;

R/T: .365
60': 2.369
330:6.747
1/8: 10.396
MPH: 67.96
1000: 13.504
1/4: 16.178
MPH: 83.71

Nice brother! These trucks are a bear to launch with out spinning. I made 7 passes yesterday and spun on 4 of them... I have over 90 passes in me with my Z06 and I thought that was hard to hook. Bottom line, these trucks need some sticky tires. I had to laucnh so easy compared to what it could do, and I tried everything with heating them up, air presure ect... well the track was slick too with 92 degrees and sunny outside. I have a set of MT ET st radials 275 40 that would give me a little gear and hook a ton better than the oems michs, now i need some track wheels. Congrats brother!

...low 16's sounds about right..( you went to the track before I saw this thread)....need gears and a programmer to get into th 15's....basically one or the other...both woud be a bonus...
