It's like froto'sride said. When the door lock actuator goes out, it jams up the whole mechanism. Only way to fix is to replace the whole door latch as the actuator is integral. You can take the gear out like froto'sride said, but be careful and take your time as you remove the screws and take it apart, as I remember some of the internal parts like to shoot across the driveway when you are not looking. Thanks for the help! Replaced the latch mechanism and problem is gone.

u are right,my locksmith took this piece out and saved me a fortune i love manual locking,dodge guys i really recommend this cause my buddy bought another actuator for his dodge after his first one went out and his new one is broke agin
