Ha ha ha, well doesn't the truck have a bigger, more powerful engine than your rt-10? Is a pulley kit worthwhile? What do you sacrefice for the power?
Yes, the truck has more HP, Torque and CID, but the Viper is quicker and faster
The Ram SRT-10 will run low to mid 13's stock. What does the Viper run? Mid to high 12's?

:EDIT: I dont know if you think I'm putting down the Viper heh, but I'm not. Just curious.

What do you mean exactly by "full bolts"?
I mean cam's, heads, headers, CAI, exhaust, and alittle 50shot of nitrous that would be a low 13second QC. That would have you around 425HP. If you had RC that would be a high 12second truck with good tires.

Maybe I'll just go buy a gsx-r 1000 instead of buying a whole new truck or screwing up my current one.

I have actually seen stock STD cab SRT10 Rams touch 12s at around 106, but that is very rare, need a VERY good driver. I hope ot hit 12s with mid pipes, high flow cats, 4.56s and exhuast I will install this winter. The exhaust, much like the GEN I Viper exhaust BLOWS! Proven dynos get 20HP (+/- a few) on ehaust upgrades on the SRT Ram. Why DC put 4 cats on this truck?.?.?.?

Stats of a GEN I Viper
0-60 4.6
1/4 mid to upper 12s at 114
Owning the first of its kind, priceless....... That is why I went after the SRT, the fact that production is done and less than 10K units were ever made=not common and lower depriciation.

sorry to say, but the days of the performance truck have halted for a while. even the new hemi's dont perform like the 03-05 models do. If you want fast jump into the SRT-8 Jeep. with an AWD platform it edges out the SRT-Ram as the 2nd fastest vehicle in the DCX fleet.

Only if you know how to launch the car. I have been in one when its floored and the 0-60 I witnessed is nowhere near 5flat more like 6flat. But the owner learned how to launch the car and pulled off atleast a 5.5second 0-60. If I had to choose between a SRT-10 ram and SRT-8 jeep I would deffinetly go with the ram. You can hit low 12's for just 2k.
