Default Upgrades or SRT-10?

I currently have a 03 QC with mods listed below. I really love this truck. I have my stereo dialed in the way I want it with the xm, the bed cover, etc... But I was really hoping to have something a little faster. I've got the money to do it, I guess I'm just looking for educated opinions about whether I should spend the time and effort involved in making this a srt-10 caliber truck, or if I should trade this in for a bona-fide viper-powered truck. I've seen the interior of Srt-10s and it's quite a bit nicer than my SLT. Also, the '10 has a heavier trans right? If i wanted to go from 360hp (current truck) to 500hp (srt-10) what would I have to do? Turbo, heads, etc? Seems like a lot of work and unreliability when I could go get a factory spec one if the cost is the same. I know there are some heavily modded rams out there.... Do you guys wish you'd just spent the money on a SRT? Really appreciate the input.

If you want to go fast without actually heavily modding your truck, go for the SRT-10. To get your truck up to SRT times, youd probably have to go with a turbo or supercharger. STS makes a nice turbo kit.

Also, I saw some guy with nitrous running 12's, although I'm not sure what shot.

If you wanna hit the 12's in QC I could see it with full-bolt's and a 100-125shot of nitrous.

See my sig and you will know which way I am leaning. The thing that put me over the top is the fact they stopped SRT10 production and the truck should hold its value better than my Hemi.

What do you mean exactly by "full bolts"?

I think youll get more of a thrill out of the SRT though. It's more fun to say I've got an 8.3 V-10 Viper engine than Ive got a 5.7 V-8.

I like to tell people I have a matching car and truck. Confuses most people.

Ha ha ha, well doesn't the truck have a bigger, more powerful engine than your rt-10? Is a pulley kit worthwhile? What do you sacrefice for the power?

Yes, the truck has more HP, Torque and CID, but the Viper is quicker and faster
