top end performance
a few buddies and me were discussing what should be the next things to do to my (sorta like a project truck)
. its a 2004 1500 dodge ram with a 4.7L v8. so i thought i should ask u guys 2. i was thinking that the next things that i should work on is stuff like getting a new posi, new rear gears, a shift kit, new cam shaft, underdrive pulleys, and brake rotor. do you guys think that all this is worth it. and whats your opinion on this stuff?

Whether it's worth it or not is all up to you man, just remember you're going to be spending a lot of money for performance. that's just the way it is. btw take that tb spacer out of the list. Ask AIRram what he has done to his truck he has a 4.7 with many perf. mods..
if you have the money I say get a Hemi and add turbo..

When you say top end, I'm assuming you mean top end of the track.
High speed top end in the 1/4 is horsepower/tq vs. raceweight and hook up, nothing less. Except maybe get rid of 3000lbs.
The posi and rotor won't help. Maybe the posi if you are spinning only one tire off the line. But I have run 98mph in the 1/4 testing a/f with my turbo and only ran a high 14. If I was trying for time and did a good launch, I'd be much quicker and be over 100mph.
