^^^^^^^ Im with you bro, i went to orlando to go see Lord of the Dance (which was really kinda cool) and in the parking lot i saw a chevy avalanche SLAMMED with lil rims and tires on it that stuck out the side of it. I nearly puked right there... it was hilarious tho, the first words outa of my sisters mouth was "Damn Mexicans", and i apologize if you are mexican, just repeating what she said.

Nothing says redneck more clipping what amounts to a plastic keychain to your hitch receiver. They were funny at first, 10 years ago, when only one guy had it. Everyone knows trucks are girls anyway... Bull ***** are GHEY.

And it's very easy to over-chrome a pickup. Chrome wheels look good on some trucks. That's it.

I have an 03 QC sport model, graphite mettallic gray. I was skeptical about the chrome handles and stuff. I had already put on chrome tube step bars and chrome bed rails. I put on the chrome handles and tailgate handle and I think they look good. Truck has painted bumpers instead of chrome and the 20's. Thats all the chrome I want on it though, no more. I guess it depend on what u got. I mean I wouldnt put the handles on a jacked up 4x4 or a work truck model, cuz then it would just be stupid.

 

IMO just about anything that doesn't serve a function is worthless. A cowel hood on a latemodel truck is just stupid in most cases. Very few of the trucks have been modified enough to need the extra hood clearance and unless its been modified the air intake is up front not near the cowel like they used to be.

 

I just read your sig and noticed you had the Sport Package. If it is indeed a Sport it should have came with a billet gas door, ground effects and a hood scoop. Unless the 05s didn't come with that like the 03s did.

My least favorite mods:
- Chrome that has been added
- Lowered 4x4s
- low-profile tires with 22+" rims on a 4x4
- NASCAR stickers

 

I don't think the sports come with those items anymore - the sport package is just body color bumpers and trim, and maybe the 20" rims. My window sticker states sport on it.
