I just got off the phone with Richmond Gears and cause i was interested in swapping out my current 3.55 gears for some 4.56's. He said that nobody carries any different gears for the AMA axel (which i think my 2004 Ram Hemi has). Is this guy nuts, or id this true. Does anyone know a place to get replacement gears.

 

the gears available for the AAM 9.25 that you have on your 1500 are 3.55, 3.92, 4.10, and 4.56.

anyway, the guy that you chatted with is wrong, you can get 4.65's and many here have swaped out for 4.65's

The first place I thought of was Stripper Motor Sports and this is a direct link for 4.56's. $190 and I think you may be able to get a discount since your a dodge forum member

Go to ultimate4.com. You can find the gears there for the rear and even the fronts on 4x4's. That's were I got mine.
