Default Rear Air Shocks?

I'm looking to put some rear air shocks on my 2002 Dodge Ram 1500, reg. cab, 2wd. I've checked with the local parts dealers here in town and none of them carry them or can even get them. So, I don't know if they even exist, I've done some research on the internet and haven't found them yet, but I'm not done yet. If anyone knows where I can get a set, please let me know and if it's a website, please include the web address. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

AutoZone has them. I think the brand is AirJacker, but that might be wrong.

I always wondered what the purpose of these are? Add some air pressure when you are towing a heavy load?

Yeah, they keep the rear end from sagging when you're hauling a heavy load, and autozone doesn't have them for a 2002, they do for the older models. I think they mount up the same as the older models but I"m not for sure it they do or not and what the difference would be.

Firestone makes airbags for the 1500. I don't have them but a couple of the guys in this area do and really like the versatility. They level the truck for day to day use then can lift it for hauling or off roading.
