Both these indications are approximately 2 to 3 mpg less than what the O/H computer indicates.

My OH computer reads less than I actually calculate, but only by 1-2 mpg.

The best I've goten was 20.3 last weekend at 70 mph. Now that I put the Power Wire on I want to see if it makes a difference.

Not wiff the 06 Hemi 5.7l Mega Cab 1500 ... best I got so far was 487 miles to a tank. That was the week the 99 Voyager that I usually drive was in the shop getting the tranny replaced. Had to drive the Mega Cab back and forth to work ... ~ 80 miles round trip. Mega cabs dont have MDS .. if Im not mistaken ...

I'd be willing to bet the MEGAcab also had the diesel and not the HEMI. I'd also bet the Megacab you drove had a tank larger than 28 gallons...

Houston,

Not sure if your referring to me. The avatar shown is my new 06 Mega cab with a Hemi. I get about 480 +/- per 35 gallon tank. If I put my foot in it alot .... that goes down quite drastically. However .. I dont often do that ... so 480 is my norm.

Ram 1500's dont have the CTD as an option, I do think on a megacab 1500 the standard tank size is either 34 or the 35 gallon tank.

sumncguy, yea I was referring to you. Sorry about not replying to your name.

480 miles from a 35 gallon tank would equate to 13.71 mpg. That sounds about right.

I looked at one of those Megacabs a couple of weeks ago, very nice indeed. If I ever have a need for a truck that size I'll probably get one but currently I don't need anything that big.

06HemiTRX4,

Okay I must have missed something. Call me stupid if you will but what is CTD?

H.H.

stykthyn.... Uh oh ... are you a doubting Thomas .... my numbers are fro the O/H and as I mentioned earlier, 480 +/- (with or withoud tailwinds) is the norm.

I will get the exact numbers. I happen to have the truck wiff me today. I will top 'er off and get the exact mileage. Its coming up on about 6 grand now so break in should be for the most part over ... standby fer the results. It will take a few days ....
