06' getting 25mpg??
Ok so as I was driving to work this morning I heard a dodge comercial come on the radio advertising the 06' 1500 saying the it gets 25mpg, is that true?????
So far the best I have got is 20.4 MPG with my 06 Hemi, I expect it will get a little better as it gets broke in. So far I have 570 miles on her. Of course I dont expect that kind of MPG all the time, just depends on your driving habits.
I have gotten 24+ on the highway at 60-65 with the cruise on. No wind on flat highway.
To be honest I get better mileage with the quad in the back cruising at 70 than with no quad.

MDS works best at 55-65 so I think its possible at freeway speeds at the best conditions. Average will be lower. Just as my truck averages 14.3 with the non MDS HEMI. I cruise usually at or 5 over the posted limit and the mileage has increased. I have a heavy foot around town though. : )
The largest mpg indication with my 06 is around 23 mph on a 300 mile road trip. I just turned 5000 miles and run Mobil-1 oil.
Be that as it may, one must bare in mind these indications are from the overhead computer. I have found these readings to be grossly in error.
The only accurate way to figure out mpg is to keep a journal. My average mpg around town is 13.8 mpg. On the highway I have hit 20.3 mpg. Both these indications are approximately 2 to 3 mpg less than what the O/H computer indicates.
"Awesome" is a term I wouldn't use to descibe either result.
