DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO GET THE DASH PANELS OFF TO GET TO THE RADIO MOUNTS ON AN 03 1500 ???

Very very easy....unscrew one black screw on the right side of the center dash panel (the little hook in the right middle). Then pull steadily on the panel, it WILL pop out. Just make sure you don't yank your cig lighter wire out. If you've downloaded the FSM, it'll show you a pic of it. I did it recently to install the RAH code mp3 cd player.

its held on by clips, just pop them off, BUT its a major pain in the *** to do it

FSM is the service manual and you can download it for free at http://www.hemitruckclub.com . The best way I've found to remove the dash panel is to take off the glove box (easy, no tools req'd) then start pulling on that corner of the center dash trim (after you've removed the screw behind the bag holder hook. When you disconnect the antenna from the back of the radio be sure to pull on the black plastic sleeve and not the metal part of the antenna cable.

Don't hafta take the glove box off...hell, don't even need to open it. It took me all of 5 min to swap head units.
