Default blown sub

i have a thunderform in my 2003 qc sounds great but i blew the stock mtx speakers they were the 10" 4500, but one blew and was wondering what was a good sub for it. and the old ones were 8 ohm, but i was looking at circuit city and they have 2 kicker 10" subs for 119$ but there 4 ohms i think i have them wired in parrell now so does it matter

I take it those are the comp subs and dont do it. They are horrible. What size amp do you have running them? Honestly the best speaker for the money is an Ascedant Audio Assasin. Every sub is handmade and comes with either a 3 year warranty. http://www.ascendantaudio.com/assassin10specs.html Go take a look, you will be very pleased

actually i purchased the 2 10" comp yesterday before anyone wrote back but they sound really good compared to the old mtx only thing was the plastic ring around the sub i had to take a dremmal to it so it would fit in the thunderform, thanks anyways for the info hopefully i wont blow these ones i only have a 150 x 2 mtx amp to them i have it running in parallel
