Default stock cummins performance

the two easiest ways to get the stock common rail diesel to wake up are:

1 = high flow air filter plus torque tube

2 = high flow exhaust (ex. silverline)

not to hi jack, But I did not want the cummins engine, cheaper for me to get the 5.7, seeing that you own booth, what can be done to the 5.7? to get extra performance? I'm don't expect to run with the big dog's, just like to bark louder...

i just bought the 06 w/the hemi. I am not sure what things will work with it yet. it seems that there are differences in opinions on superchips - some work and some don't for some reason, i think a cai would be the first place to start, then exhaust even on a naturally aspirated gas engine. more air in, more air out. then chip it

I have a 2500 Ram with the 5.7... I'm amazed at the size of the air filter/ air box when compared to a 04 5.43v F-150, I don't know if a cai wil accomplish a lot,and I do not want to to chip the truck or play with tunners...
