Question about Flowmaster 50 HD?
I was thinking about a flowmaster for my 2002 QC Ram 1500, and was thinking about the Flowmaster 50HD.
Now, on Flowmasters website, it states that this particular muffler is for the Hemi. My question is can i use it on my truck, even though it's not a Hemi? Also, how much does it typically cost to have this installed? and do you recommend the dealership for this work?

...naw..the muffler really isn't specific on Hemi's, it should work well with any truck...I almost think it's a marketing thing... i bought a 3"SI/2.25" DO Flow 50 with chrome tip side exits before the rear tire (all welded).. for $250.00 (parts an labor), here's how mine looks and sounds:

You can use it no problem. The dealership may not install flowmaster, not to mention, they will most likely be very expensive. Find a local muffler shop and they should install it for no more then $289 complete.
Thanks for the reply. One other thing though, I noticed that you have a dual exhaust that's before the tire.
Is that just your preference? or did placing the muffler before the tire, a performance thing?
I have a single exhaust. I noticed that you have a Dual exhaust, was there a reason for the dual exhaust?
