Default R.I.P Hemi

Hey guys,

Not been on here for a while, any ways my baby is dead, I was in a nice reck the other night... a dumb *** lady ran a red light and T boned me accross 4 lanes I spun out luckaly holding it pretty well to stop me from rolling.

Looks real bad chasis is probably bent, cops and I recon she must have hit me at close on 50 mph.

Any one else been hit hard in there rams, its not an officialy totaled as yet but i wont be suprised.

So if it is a right off what should i get next, any Ideas as i got an amazing deal on my truck so I'm guessing i wont get enough back from the insurance to get a new 1500 HEMI

Here is some pics i took on my cam phone.

I'm sorry to hear about your accident and your car. Did you have any injury's? And you want to buy a new ram sue the lady that hit for like like 20k and you'll probably get atleast around 10k from insurance so that enough so you'll monthly payments on a new ram will only be like $150 a month in a 48month plan if you got a all optioned ram.

I know this is a Dodge board, but Ford has some massive deals going on right now. Two of my friends just got 3/4 ton trucks fully loaded for less than my 1500 fully loaded.

as for my injeries, it feels like ive been kicked by a horse, I saw a Dr on friday, and have been well advised to go for an MRI as i have a lump on my sarabellum (spelling) neck, bak and hips are painfull and actually hard to walk.

I have not seen my truck since the accident and probably wont till the appraiser has ben to tell me if its fixable or totalled. Anything i can get off the truck to sell I will so I will keep you posted on that.

If worst comes to worst I have been looking at new trucks, Unfortunatly i cant find a used ram for the price i paid for mine, so it may be a finance deal if i do anything like that. Ive seen a few used fords at a decent price also.

How ever with gas prices as they are and a pay cut at work included ive been looking at a V6 dare i say a nissas frontier or Toyota Tacoma x runner.....

What ever i choose I'l alwasy be a dodge guy at heart, I cant say how mich i love my truck, best drive of my life.

Be SURE to go to the DR, get everything documented then BEFORE you even talk to an attorney find out what the ladies insurance limits are. My mom was in an accident, hired a scum sucking lawyer who basically "settled" for the persons maximum liability and split it with my mom.............I COULD HAVE MADE THIS TYPE OF SETTLEMENT. If the lady has minimum coverage don't bother with an attorney unless she has a LOT of assets. Be patient, takes a while for those bumps and bruises to heal and there could be other problems down the line. IMO they will total your truck as the area where it was hit contains a quite a bit of structural reinforcement and once bent is never as strong when bent back. Good luck!

Sorry to hear about your truck I can understand your pain I was T-Boned on the drivers side of my 67 chevelle when I was 18. The girl that hit me was going 60 so I couldn't even move the next day, but between getting about twice the cars worth from my insurance for the car and being young and dumb I didn't sue herand should have(their attorney was worried that I would) she was 100% in the wrong. I would at least consider doing so you can never be to careful I still have problems from that 10 years later.

stay away from Ford...Garbage ( I'm a ex Ford guy, perks of Ford stronger frame, stronger body's on the 04, every think else is junky ) ) Your dodge Ram dosent look like a write off from the pictures, and if your dodge proved, getting used to a Ford will bug you---I have been Ford proved and getting used to my dodge Ram is tricky, but the Ram is the better truck ...
Glad your okay and best of luck getting heathy....

Glad you're okay. Looks like the Ram did its job well, protecting what is inside. Sounds like you just got banged up a little, I wish you a speedy recovery.
