Replaced my stock 20" wheels with 17" wheels
I didn't like the way the stock 20" wheels and tires looked, so I replaced them with some more off-road looking ones. I replaced them with 17X9 Pro-Comp Series 6059's w/ 295/70R17 Nitto Terra Grapplers. I think it turned out great. The wheels have a -8mm offset so they do stick out a little more, which is what I wanted. I also cranked the torsion bars up front a little so that the gap between the top of the tire to the fender equal in the front and rear. The first picture shows how much more the new wheel sticks out compared to the stock one. The second picture is just an overall picture of the truck. The last picture is my stock 20" wheels, which are for sale if anyone is interested. I live in Reno, NV and I will probably drive up to 100 miles to meet someone if the price is right. Thanks for looking!

Looks great.
Those new tires are about 33" x 11.5"
Do you think 35" x 12.5" would fit now that you have mounted your new tires.?
I am planning on doing this when I sell mine and my measurements say they will fit. It's going to be close though.

I was looking at it and there is still quite a bit of space in there, so I would say that they would fit. Its only an extra inch around the whole tire, and an extra inch split between both sides of the tire... I would say it would definately fit.
hey guys i did this about 6 months ago and its the best thing i ever did i too had the stock 20's and swapped them for 35x11.5x17" im not the one always getting pulled out, im the one pulling.
Well I don't have a 4x4 but I sure do like the look of those tires, I won't be doing any off roading obviously but will be traveling down lots of dirt roads when I haul my atv's and before I saw these pix I thought about switching.
Anyone have any suggestions on a set up similar to this for a 2x4?

I am assuming these tires/wheels are a little lighter than the stock 20"s, no performance increase I noticed though...
The whole set up w/ free tire replacement was a little under 1500 from 4wheelparts.com. That includes the tires mounted & balanced, and delivered to my door.
I would like to get as close to 800 for the stock 20" wheels as I can. I wouldn't mind shipping but I would not have any clue on where to begin packaging and having them delivered. Has anyone shipped wheels/tires before that could give me some insight?
