I have the HYPERTECH PROGRAMMER III and it is showing me two codes P0456 and P0442 can some one tell me what this is THANKS

P0456-EVAP leak monitor-Small Evap leak detected
P0442-Evaporative Emissions Control System leak detected

This could be one of two issues
1. Your gas cap was not on tight enough and caused the light to go off.
2. Your evap hoses are becoming old and brittle and have small crackes in them, this seems to be a common complaint of the Rams as they get older.

Thank you for the information I now know what i am dealing with THANKS.
I have the K&N air filter and the pipe from the carburetor to the filter can that maybe be the problem.
I also checked my gas cap it is tight i removed it and put back on and i am still getting that code reading.
