Default 20" tire problems

just wondering if anyone has had trouble with their factory goodyear 20" tires. just noticed a large round bulge in the sidewall of one. it's about 3-4" in diameter. I think i'll put my BF GOODRICH AT tires back on. i'm just curious if there would be any warranty coverage.

There should be a thin booklet in your glovebox from your OE tire manufacturer. This will tell you how to get warranty on your tires.
Your Dodge dealer may try to help you as a courtesy, but there really isn't any thing he can do that you can't.

I'm at almost 45000 miles on mine, and except for the fact that they aren't speed rated and mine apperar to be nail sponges (I threw in 4 patches in a week and a half!) they perform well, think I'm gonna go bigger though (and speed rated!)

I got screwed by the dealership with my tires, apparently to get the warranty on them you have to check this little box on the warranty sheets you sign when buying the truck and the dealer never pointed this out or even mentioned it to me. so naturally within 3months I had 4 nails and the one couldnt be fixed and they wanted to charge me $208 per tire to replace it and then an additional $50 per warranty for each tire to buy that. Long story short instead of buying one new tire and 4 warrantys for $400+ I went and bought 4 new Nitto 404's Speed rated at 150mph and handle somuch nicer for about $570 with all the warrantys included.

Each Tire should a a manufacturers warranty. As dodgedlr stated....check the tire warranty booklet in your glove box. Dodge doesn't honor the warranty!!!
The only problem u may have is them trying to say you caused it.

Mine are nail sponges also. I have 15k miles and 3 patches already. Two in on tire and one in the other. I have no real complaints about them othere than the nails.

When I purchased my truck NEW I took it over to Discount tire and purchased a warrantee for each tire... I think it costed like 17.50 per tire... but it was worth it. I had to use it 3 times so it paid for itself without a doubt. When I purchased my NEW BFG Tkw's of the internet and then took them over to Discount for the warrentee. So they are covered as well...

SPEED SAFE, AIR RAM
