go drive a 04+ f-150, every dodge ram I have been in has better seats than a Ford, My 2500 Ram reg cab slt seats are ok, If I had gotton the upgraded seat package, seats may have been more comfortible , but I don't have a issues with the seats....

I'm 6ft4 240 Lbs, Driving My Ford sucked..

I have a new 06 Dodge and I love the new seats. Plenty of support, especially compared to my 2004 however the 2004 had cloth seats and my 06 is leather.

H.H.

I assume you have cloth seats. After clocking about 40,000 miles in Ram's at the proving grounds before buying my truck I knew I would never have the cloth seats. People think that the difference between the cloth and the leather is just the covering. This is false, because the foam padding is completely different between the two. This has been a problem from the beginning of the 2002+ Ram's. However the 2006's have much better support than the 2002-2005 trucks. The leather seats have much better support in my opinion.

If it is still bothering you after you're sure it is the seat, comtact an upholstry shop. They can add different foam or gel type seat padding under the factory cover so it looks stock.

No offense mate, but it is a truck. If I wanted luxury seats, I get a luxury car. You have take into consideration the suspension and if you have 20"s. I drive the ST with vinyl seats and 20's. I have no problems. You may also want to check your posture, the seat adjustment or your back. I bounce over bumps, but hey I take it for what it is, a truck.

No problems with my back...
But I don't like how hard they are compared to last year.

My Katzkin leather should be in after a while, maybe my upholsterer can put in a little extra padding then.
