Guys, the rear part of the the dash (near the windshield) cracked has anyone delt with that?? Does the dealer take care of that under any warranty?? or has anyone done this part replacement?? Any info?? thanks Sam

 

I strongly doubt its covered under any warranties. Well at least here in AZ Im almost positive its not. Your truck is an 02' Right? Well has it been sitting outside in the sun for the last 4yrs? You can buy replacement dashes Id check dodgeparts.com they seem to have every part in the mopar catalog in it. otherwise invest in a dash mat and cover it up...... sorry man dont know what else to tell you about it but its a common thing in all vehicles here that are not under a covered parking garage/lot or in a garage during the day......

 

Sorry to hear about you dash board woes. If it is the very front part of the dash that pops out, you can replace it wiht a new one if it bothers you that much. I can't imagine it being that expensive. Or as mentioned, you can get a dash mat or just live with it. If it isn't that bad or noticable, I'd just let it go. A little crack wouldn't bother me that much. Sure it can **** you off at first, but is kinda like scratches and small dents....they're gonna happen.

 

I never leave my car or truck parked anywhere without a window visor even if I keep them garaged when they're not being driven.
