THE JL AUDIO 500/1 IS A PERFECT MATCH FOR THAT BAD BOY, WHY DONT YOU GO BIG WITH 1 12" W7, AND A 1000/1 AMP TO GO WITH IT JUST TAKE OUT YOU MIDDLE SEAT BETWEEN DRIVER AND PASSENGER(JUST A COUPLE BOLTS) AND BUILD A BOX INTO THAT SPACE. ITS ALL THE BASS YOU WILL EVER NEED. DONT LET ANYBODY ELSE SUGGEST ANYTHING BUT JL FOR AMPS AND SUBS THEY ARE NUMBER 1 WHEN IT COMES TO THAT.

I beg to differ with you on that statement, there are many brands more than capable at providing him with the same amount of bass and for half the price. Too many people are hung up on JL audio... it is funny because I am sitting here looking at a fried JL 4300 amp that couldnt even hold up for one year in a mastercraft driving one 12 and 4 tubbies's(wake tower speakers-diamond audio's). Needless to say it was not replaced with another JL amp, the owner of the $60000 boat wouldnt have it.
I wouldnt make this statement if it wasnt for the fact that I have been in the car audio biz for over 20 years and have seen many different brands come and go. Its all bout how you setup/install your system and how you build your box to the speakers specs.
