Default CAI System????

I have a 06 QC Hemi .... Looking at a CAI.... can anyone tell me more about them... I have heard you lose some low end... I dont want it to be slower off the line... the only mod i have is a Hypertech power programmer

Most are crap because they suck underhood (hot) air. Those stupid one's with "shields" are worthlittle unless your hood is open while your on the dyno...

If it is routed so it is fed entirely by cool air, like inside the fenderwell, then it's a good one.

I have the AEM on mine and I like it a lot. It is shielded from the engine heat. when the hood is closed, it closes off the top. It draws cool air from the right side in front of the wheel. nice opening for fresh air there.
