Just be careful with that (if you ARE wearing your belt). Like I said in an earlier post, that stuff is wired directly in to the airbag module. It might be that you have more serious problems than just a seatbelt sensor. A crash is not the best time to find out that your airbag or belt pretensioners arent working.

i would have to say that you probably have a loose wire that is causing it to go on and then off, you really should get that checked out just for safety reasons

Everyone always says they don't have time, they don't have time. Well I bet you wish you would have made time after it goes off for no reason on the highway.

Hey man, I don't care how busy you are. Get it checked ASAP.

Did you ever get hit by a deployed airbag? Right, you didn't.

If there is a problem and it deploys while you are in the seat and driving, it is not going to be pretty.

And, expensive. That is if you don't run off the road or cause a major accident, God forbit.

Hope you don't have any family with you if you decide to just forget it for now.

BIGN, bullseye!!

What Kenni said. That is one thing you don't want to screw around with. Get it fixed BEFORE you and your family go on vacation. If the thing deploys and you're doing 70 on the freeway, or going through a mountain pass..........

If you can't get it repaired before you leave, take a different vehicle.

harleymedic try this web site they have a wiring diagram for the 03 ram air bag system and for the whole rest of the truck its quite helpful, hope this helps ya

http://www.hemitruckclub.com/

just click on the 03 ram manual and it will appear in adove reader and you go to wiring and then air bag system and it will bring up some diagram of how the air bag system is wired, if it comes on and off it may be a loose wire. my $.02

You should be able to hook up to the OBD2 port and find out what is actually malfunctioning. My point in posting my response in the first place..... I am an accident reconstructionist, and have seen this very thing cause some major headaches. The seatbelt / airbag alarms are basically warning devices for other internal problems. I agree you need to figure out what the problem is before you can get it fixed, BUT don't hesitate.
