Default plugs and wires on a 06 Hemi

I know this may sound like a DA question... but does the 06 Hemi have plugs at all??? or is it strictly something like a coil pack... I looked under the hood of my friends 04 and the basic engine looked the same but I noticed how he had plug wires going to the side of his coil packs that were on top of the valve covers... I looked at mine again thinking maybe I missed it... but the only thing going to the top is just a couple small wires.... again I know this may sound ignorant but could someone please explain what the differences are in the motors and if there is any advantage in the two??? thanks...

Thanks for the reply... so those two little wires going to the coil pack give all the fire for the plugs??? why did they get rid of the plug wires???

No need for plug wires when the coil packs are directly on the plugs. Those small wires going to the coil packs only have to carry 12 volts the coils increase the voltage for the plugs to fire. So there is no need to ever replace plug wires.
