Default Shocks

Going to get ready to change my shocks, 04 1500 QC, there anything I should know, or for the most part is it just taking some bolts off.

The rear is fairly easy if you have a floor jack and a couple jack stands.
For the front, make sure u have 2 spring clamps. There is a rubber boot you have to break to release the upper A arm....make sure u have replacements. Mark the springs so u place them back in correctly.

this may sound like a dumb question, but why would he need spring clamps to change shocks? I have never had to remove a-arms or springs to change my shocks before.

I don't know. I just unbolted mine and bolted the new ones in on the front. It's a one beer job, no clamps.

Thats what I thought, however I am going to be putting some spacers in so I will need the spring clamps for that.
